If you've been to Breakpoint in 2005 and just want to check which compo rules changed, this page is for you.
- If you submit something, you have to be present at the party. This now goes for all compos, including demo compos where we previously had exceptions.
- Entries have to be free of third party rights unless you have a legal license to use the given content. So no ripped music, no movie snippets, no closeups of trademarked logos, etc. This has always been the case, but was never explicitly stated that clearly as a rule.
- Size limit is now 1.500.000 bytes.
- We no longer accept DMF submissions. (There haven't been any in the last 3 years, in any case).
- MODs and XMs will now be played with XMPlay instead of FastTracker 2.
- This is a new compo this year and intended for... well, photos. Check the graphics competition page for details.
- No PPC/Pegasos entries allowed anymore. We had no PPC entries last year, Pegasos is more than a little controversial, and both are rather difficult to record because working PPC Amigas are getting rare, so we ditched the compo.
- 15 minute time limit for Demos was lowered to 10 minutes.
- We now prefer .D64/.PRG submissions over 5.25" floppies.
- 15 minute time limit for Demos was lowered to 10 minutes.
- 15 minute time limit for Demos was lowered to 10 minutes.
- 10 minute time limit lowered to 5 minutes. (Watching a game for 10 minutes if you're not playing it is plainly boring).

- You may now also submit videos of your entries in DivX format.
